Qantas Oneworld Classic Flight Reward
Australia - Asia & North America
318,000 Qantas Points
Find your Flights into and out of Australia
Welcome to either the first or final stage of building your Round the World ticket. If you haven’t already, we recommend reading our guide Getting Started with Your Oneworld Classic Flight Reward before you begin planning your itinerary.
The most challenging flights to secure on this itinerary are often the first departure from, and final return to, Australia. Due to high demand for redemptions between Australia and Asia/North America, especially from Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, reward seat availability can be very limited.
That said, with some flexibility, compromise, or a bit of luck, you can get past this first major hurdle in booking your round-the-world trip.
Top Tip:
We have found significantly more reward seat availability when flying into and out of Perth and Auckland, particularly into key Oneworld hubs such as Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
Where are you traveling to?
✔ Sydney ✔ Melbourne | ✔ Brisbane ✔ Perth ✔ Auckland |

Tips for finding availability?
Look at alternate departure cities such as Perth and Auckland, which have much higher availability into/out of Asia.
Fly Premium Economy into/out of Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific typically releases a generous amount of Premium Economy availability from Sydney.
Note: This won’t affect the overall points pricing of your booking.Availability to North America is very limited from Australia. If no direct availability suits your needs, we recommend flying into North America via Europe, then returning to Australia again through Europe and Asia.
