With Emirates taxes up at $1,800-1,900 and 150-200k points this isn't a massive saving vs $5,500. Can you please separate out the dates with "reasonable" taxes vs those with the EK stitch up pricing?

Hi Peter,

We completely understand that the higher taxes on Emirates flights aren’t ideal. We’ve included them in this week's newsletter because Business Class availability to Europe on Qantas and other partner airlines is extremely limited.

That said, I’m happy to show you all available options that exclude Emirates. Please note, though, that removing these flights significantly reduces availability.

Outbound options: (British Airways and Cathay Pacific) Sydney – Rome: 3, 4, 17 November 2025 Sydney – Milan: 27 October; 3, 4, 17 November 2025 Sydney – Barcelona: 3, 4, 17 November 2025 Brisbane – Rome: 22 October 2025

Return options: Unfortunately, there are currently no return flights available that exclude Emirates.

These are all Emirates flights with huge fees.

Also - why is this becoming a paid membership when it was advertised as free?

Hi Trevor,

Thank you for your comment.

We want to reassure you that our free version will remain available for all users. We plan to introduce a new paid version as an additional option for customers who wish to access enhanced features and greater flexibility.

This new tier will enable us to invest further in our platform and develop innovative tools to assist all customers, including those using the free version.

I hope this clarifies your question.

That's just corporate babble.

It's a typical bait and switch after getting everyones details with the promise of a free service.

Can you add Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Vienna?

The business flights you posted departing Sydney have dates but they only say to Europe. How do I search that in the Qantas website? they fly to many cities in Europe

Hi Isabel,

Thank you for your comment.

You can view the availability for flights from Sydney to Rome, Milan, Athens, and Barcelona in the calendar found above. In the right-hand column, you’ll see the return flights, and the corresponding outbound flights to the left of those will be arriving in that city.

The rows are in this order: Sydney - Athens Sydney - Barcelona Sydney - Milan Sydney - Rome

I hope this clarifies things.

What about including flights from anywhere in Australia to Mauritius?
