Final Days to Book Emirates First Class!

Come the 18th February, all Emirates First Class availability will be completely removed from the Qantas website for anyone who does not hold Qantas Silver status or above. As we highlighted a few weeks ago, Emirates accounted for 98% of all Qantas First Class availability at the time. This will significantly alter the redemption landscape for many Qantas Frequent Flyer members.

With this change taking effect in just a couple of days, we couldn’t wait until Wednesday to show all Emirates First Class reward seats to our most popular destinations, London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona & Dubai, so you can secure one of the last opportunities to experience the most iconic First Class seat in the sky. Bronze members here and managed to book first class with emirates in December, Mel-Dubai so very fortunate. Onward journey is to Dublin and got business class. A little disappointed we will not experience much lounge time in Melbourne as flight departs @ 5am….but really looking forward to the flight anyway. Any tips to make it more memorable are welcomev

Yep, already had Business Class to Venice, 7th March, but I always check everyday and up popped First Class on the 6th. So grabbed them immediately. Somewhat of a shame re the Qantas Silver only for points first class, so don't know what we will do for next year to Rome, without the first class option. ( Its a hard life !! ) Also, FYI , I calculated that Emirates are releasing business class FF seats to Qantas members, 7 months in advance, rather than the old 11 months ??

I'm a bronze member and booked Melbourne to Rome in October three weeks ago. There were still a few first seats left in October when I booked. I am very happy this may be the last opportunity to fly first with Emirates🥹
