Point Hacks Postcards ๐ฎ

After a month of travelling and putting together the newsletter from across Europe, I thought it would be fitting this week to share reward seat availability (and some photos) to some of my favourite stops along the journey so you can start planning your own European adventure.
When travelling to Europe, I will always recommend using points to book premium cabins for the long-haul flights, while paying cash for trains and short flights within Europe.
On this recent trip, I paid cash for my first flight on board Jetstar Economy from Melbourne to Bangkok. After a few daysโ break, I flew Finnair Business Class from Bangkok to Berlin via Helsinki for 90,000 Qantas Points (now 108,000).
Within Europe, a mix of low-cost airlines and train travel took me between Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, London and finally Paris, before flying Qatar Qsuite all the way home to Melbourne for 139,000 Velocity Points (now 158,500).
With award availability on Qatar-operated Virgin Australia flights to Doha still strong, the dream of Business Class all the way to Europe is still very much alive.
