Last Chance to Book Emirates First Class!

Following last week’s sudden (and shocking) double blow regarding the future of Emirates reward seats on Qantas, now's the perfect moment to spotlight every single First Class reward seat available to and from Australia using Qantas Points.

The removal of Emirates First Class availability for Bronze members will, unsurprisingly, dramatically reshape the First Class redemption landscape for most Australians. To put it in perspective, 98% of all current First Class availability (bookable on Qantas Points) departing or arriving in Australia is operated by Emirates, with the remaining 2% split between Qantas, Japan Airlines and British Airways.

It’s fair to say that when 18 February rolls around, the final cabin door will have well and truly closed on the most iconic First Class experience in the sky, and unfortunately for many, Qantas Points will no longer make it possible.

(After that date, only Qantas Silver members and higher will continue to have access to Emirates First Class reward seats with Qantas Points.)
